We, BlackBook Toy, are proud to announce MADE IN JAPAN sofubi project with legendary SK8 board graphic artist, Marc McKee!! Starting off with notorious Rocco 3 Devil Bear from World Industries founder Steve Rocco's board graphic! The board was originally released in 1989, got Cease&Desist... After 30 years, it turned into Japanese Soft Vinyl!! Thanks to classic "sofubi" articulations, his head, arms, legs and tail are moveable. His Pitchfork is casted in resin one by one by Chop of Monster Farm, who also sculpted this Rocco 3 Devil Bear. Going through trials and errors to make perfect shape and balance, we spent 3years to complete! This is so true to Skateboarding culture!!

90年代World IndustriesやBlindと言ったスケートカンパニーで過激な名作ボードグラフィックを生み出してきたスケートアート界のレジェンドアーティスト、Marc McKeeとのソフビプロジェクトが遂に始動。第1弾はWorld Industriesの創設者であるSteve Roccoの悪名高きボードグラフィックRocco 3 Devil Bear。デッキがリリースされたのが1989年、約30年の時を経て日本製のソフビに。ソフビ的要素を活かし、頭部、両腕、両足、尻尾は可動します。付属のピッチフォークは1本1本Monster FarmのChop氏によるレジンキャストです。納得の行く絶妙なフォルム、バランスを追求し、何度も原型をやり直し、約3年の時をかけ、これぞスケートカルチャー史に残る名作ソフビが遂に完成しました。原型はMosnter FarmのChop氏が担当。こちらはOGカラー。

80年代、90年代とWorld Industries、Blindといった数多くのスケートカンパニーで名作グラフィックを生み出したスケートアート界のレジェンドアーティスト。彼のグラフィックは過激な物が多く、当時より良い意味でも悪い意味でも非常に話題となっていた。まさにスケートボードの精神を象徴するアーティスト。
